Voter ID
I was just thinking about all of this brouhaha about having to prove you are you in order to vote.. I have heard some of the stupidest arguments about this. First of all do some so-called leaders think their constituents are so dumb that they can’t manage to get to a place where they will be given a free photo ID? If someone accused me of being an idiot, I might question whose interests they were interested in. Besides, if this is, indeed the case, how will they ever get themselves to the polls, or will we have to take the ballots to their house so they won’t even be inconvenienced while choosing those who will govern us? I heard one of these race baiters say that the photo ID requirement was like spitting on Martin Luther King’s grave. Oh, Yeah…right up there with fire hoses and guard dogs. As best I recall of the man, he spent his whole life working to get the right to vote and other rights, assured for all Americans. I honestly believe he would applaud any measure to prevent scam artists and crooks from abusing the results of his life’s work. Of course, unlike these quote leaders, unquote, I believe that most voters regardless of race, creed, height, weight or anything else con artists use to polarize us, take the whole voting thing seriously. If I’m wrong, photo ID is the least of our worries
